However, thicker paper alone is not what makes our Card Stock Targets better than the competition. Our Card Stock Targets also have a coating and a binding material incorporated into the wood fibers. This dramatically increases their strength, durability, wind and water resistance. As a result, our Card Stock Targets reduce the natural tendency of paper fibers to explode outward when struck with a bullet. The binding material helps hold the shape of the bullets impact, making it easier to identify every shot in a tight pattern. Our targets are also less likely to tear away from their backer through staples. Finally, our Card Stock Targets can be used outdoors in the rain, without becoming a soggy mess.
